My Story

My name is Ashley Nelik, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For the past seven years, I have provided therapy to children, young adults, adults, parents, and families. My experience spans a variety of settings—including telehealth, clinics, and schools—where I have supported clients through evidence-based approaches.

I take an integrative, skills-based approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent Management Training, and mindfulness-based strategies. My work is strengths-based and client-centered, with the goal of empowering clients to build confidence, resilience, and meaningful solutions in their lives.

When working with children, I often integrate play therapy and collaborate closely with parents to create lasting progress. I also have extensive experience supporting families as they navigate complex diagnoses, helping parents feel equipped and confident in how to best support their children.

I was drawn to this field through my own personal history, which instilled in me a deep commitment to supporting children and families facing adversity. My passion lies in creating a safe, supportive space where growth and healing are possible.
